Word from the President
" I am convinced that women’s empowerment is a marker of development, and that without it a society cannot fully be developed.
For far too many young girls around the world, period do not end a sentence but their education. Period still means too often pain. However, in this crucial period of life, menstrual precarity constitutes a barrier to the personal development of these girls, a major risk for their health and also contributes to dropping out of school.
I would like a world where being born woman is no longer a handicap to achieve her dreams, where the future of women is no longer determined by her biological condition."
